SACC issues notice to political parties wanting to support candidates for the first island-wide election in June.
Parties can register at the Greffe and a downloadable application form and guidance notes are available online.
The notes issued by the States Assembly & Constitution Committee are the first in a series that they will be publishing covering items such as the election timetable, the rules and laws affecting candidates, election expenses, and the role of a deputy. They will also cover how the States works and the internal elections to committees and other roles which follow the general election in early July.
Drop-in sessions will be organised for prospective candidates and the nomination period when people can throw their hat into the ring will be between Tuesday 12th and Friday 15th May.
You can find out more by logging on to election2020.gg or by calling the Greffe on 749526
