The average Guernsey home is selling for £604,000 which is a 0.9% drop on the previous quarter.
States' figures show a slight decrease in the average selling price of a local market property in Guernsey over the last three months of 2024.
Longer term, prices have risen by around 37% over the past five years.
Sales activity picked up in the December '24 quarter, with 190 local market transactions. This is up by 25 on the previous three months and 40 more sales than one year ago.
An average local market rental property now costs more than £2,000 per month, an increase of 50% over five years.
On the open market, the average selling price is £1.75M which has climbed from £1.46M in a year.
