The milestone community fundraiser has already exceeded last year’s total, with more donations to be counted.
More than 1,500 people took part in the 50th edition of the Guernsey Swimarathon last week.
Covering more than 366 miles over 5 days, with participants at Beau Sejour and, for the first time, the bathing pools.
Together they've raised more than £70,000.
Les Bourgs Hospice, which provides specialist palliative care in Guernsey, is this year's beneficiary.
CEO Rob Jones says they are extremely grateful to everyone involved.
"Every swimmer, volunteer, donor and supporter has contributed to an outstanding anniversary event.
“The funding will help us continue providing specialist care for patients and practical and emotional support for their families.
"It also helps raise awareness of our work and the importance of ensuring this care remains available to islanders when they need it.”
