Jersey football fans will be able to travel to Guernsey with DFDS to watch this year's Muratti final.
The ferry operator is putting on a one-off daytrip on 17 May, the day Guernsey host Jersey in the final of this year's Muratti Vase.
The boat will leave St Helier at 7.30am and arrive in St Peter Port at 9.30am, departing Guernsey at 7pm.
Bookings are expected to open early this week.
Chris Parker, Route Director for Jersey at DFDS, said: “We realise the importance of inter-island travel for sports clubs, associations and supporters in Jersey and we are pleased to be able to offer a dedicated service for the 2025 Muratti Vase.
"We look forward to welcoming football enthusiasts and day-trippers aboard on 17 May.”
Guernsey's Victoria Park will host the 2025 Muratti final for the first time.
Tim Pryor, Chief Executive Officer of the Jersey Football Association, has welcomed the special sailing for the historical fixture:
“Muratti Day remains a special day in the Channel Islands sporting calendar, and we’re pleased to see this additional service from DFDS to get family, friends and other supporters to Guernsey for the two matches, and back again.
"It’ll no doubt be a big boost to the Jersey squads to have an increased away support at Victoria Park for what should be a memorable occasion at the new stadium.”
This year's Muratti is being played for the first time at Guernsey's new stadium, Victoria Park.
A day of fixtures will start at 10.30 with the Women’s Muratti, with the home side looking to retain the title.
The men's game kicks off at 3pm.
DFDS says it is finalising plans for a weekly inter-islands service to begin in June. It says further details will be published this week.
