Hundreds of people braved an early start as they take on the 29th annual Island Walk today.
They set off from the Elizabeth Terminal at 3am, and are walking 48 miles around the island's roads, countryside and cliff paths.
Previous walks have raised more than £2.3 million for local charities.
This year's event is raising money for charities including Diabetes Jersey, Elm Rock Community Centre, and Trees For Life Jersey.
