Jersey Bulls have reinstated their livestream to their away game against Bedfont Sports following an outcry from fans.
On Wednesday the club announced it would no longer show away matches on YouTube for supporters to watch from anywhere.
Instead, they would only be screened on TVs in the Bulls Bar at Springfield.
The club said this was it has 'a responsibility to operate sustainably to preserve its long-term future'.
The decision prompted a backlash from supporters, who said it would prevent young families and fans who live outside the island from being able to follow their team when they are on the road.
Jersey Bulls has since announced the livestream for tonight's game against Bedfont Sports will be livestreamed on YouTube.
A sponsor - Bloomsbury Money - has stepped into make it possible.
A statement said:
"Thank you to everyone who has shared their views on the announcement about the changes around the availability of our live stream of away matches.
"We are happy to announce that the stream of the away fixture against Bedfont Sports this evening at 7:45pm will be available on our YouTube channel, thanks to the support of Bloomsbury Money.
"We appreciate that this sponsorship will enable off-Island fans, families and anyone who can’t get to Springfield to enjoy following the team."
"Our aim in hosting the stream in the Bulls Bar at Springfield was to foster our community, not exclude people from it.
"The reality is that any sporting organisation needs to both rely on its community of fans for support and to balance its books so that it can keep growing.
"Every bit of profit made by the club is invested directly back into our teams to help build towards something bigger – and we want all of our supporters along for that journey. "
Tonight's game is still be shown in the Bulls Bar, and the club hopes to entice supporters in by reducing the price of drinks.
It is also looking for other suggestions for creating an 'away day atmosphere'.
It is hoping other companies will come forward to sponsor future livestreams of away fixtures.
