Alderney connectivity will be reduced for the next week.
Skybus, the airline Aurigny contracts to operate services to and from Alderney, says it's seen an "unprecedented level of crew sickness".
This has led to the cancellation of 'several' flights to and from Alderney until 16 October, impacting services between Alderney and Guernsey and Alderney and Southampton.
CEO of Skybus, Stuart Reid, has apologised to the island community.
"On behalf of Skybus, we apologise unreservedly that an unprecedented level of crew sickness has impacted our ability to complete Aurigny's full schedule over the next few days.
"We recognise that the level of service provided by Skybus at present neither meets Aurigny’s expectations nor the needs of the community.
"We remain committed to working closely with our colleagues at Aurigny to improve the reliability of the service we provide.”
Aurigny - which says it had short notice from Skybus - says it will work to minimise the impact.
Passengers are being contacted, and alternative transportation is being offered where possible.
