The GSPCA says deliberately stressing cattle and other livestock is "both cruel and potentially dangerous".
The GSPCA has responded to a TikTok video appearing to show a man taunting Guernsey cows and being chased by a bull.
The charity says this was dangerous for both the animals and the person.
It is reminding people that all animals are protected by welfare legislation, and any suspected animal cruelty, neglect or mistreatment should be reported.
GSPCA Manager, Steve Byrne, says every living thing deserves kindness and respect.
"Livestock deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, just like any other animal.
"Deliberately frightening, teasing or stressing cattle for entertainment, social media content or any other reason is unacceptable.
"Not only can this cause unnecessary fear and distress to the animals, but it can also place those involved in significant danger."
"Cattle are large, powerful animals and can react unpredictably when startled or frightened.
"We would encourage everyone to admire Guernsey's livestock from a safe distance and to act responsibly around animals at all times."
