The purchases of two private homes are among the multi millions Guernsey's States have spent buying land for housing over the past five years.
Deputy Neil Inder presented a series of written questions to Policy and Resources on housing and one asks them to outline the land bought by the States since October 2020.
The information has been in the public domain, but the two purchases that stand out are the properties for key workers.
The house called Avanche Fleche along the Fort Road was bought for £1,486,000 and has been used by healthcare workers.
The other, called Le Friquet is at the Bailiff's Cross and very close to the hospital.
It cost the States £900,000 and again was bought for key workers.
As for Leale's Yard, the key Bridge regeneration project, Policy and Resources says it will retain control of the brownfield site while development plans are worked up with States departments and the Guernsey Development Agency.
The conveyance of the £4.5m States purchase is due to be complete around now.

P&R says the priority is to ensure that access and flooding risks are dealt with before building can begin, potentially in late 2027.
