You will need to wear a face covering again to travel on buses in Guernsey from tomorrow (10 March)
It is because of a rise in Covid-19 case numbers in the island.
There are 1,527 known active cases. 1,196 new cases have been identified in the past week up to 8 March.
CT Plus says it is reintroducing the measure to protect customers and staff and to minimise any disruption to services.
The bus operator currently has some staff off work with the infection.
"In an effort to protect staff and passengers and also ensure a return to a service with fewer disruptions, CT Plus has been in consultation with Traffic and Highway Services who support a company making face-coverings mandatory again to ensure the safety of all at this time.
From Thursday 10 March face-coverings will be mandatory on buses. We wish all the staff currently affected with Covid a speedy recovery and thank passengers for their understanding and support at this challenging time."
