Fairgrounds, flowers, and firebreathers planned for Guernsey's North Show

The North Show returns to Saumarez Park over two days in the last week of August.

Every year, crowds flock to Saumarez Park for one of Guernsey's biggest summer events - the North Show.

On 26 and 27 August, visitors can expect to see the usual mix of agriculture and horticulture competitions, along with new exciting acts.

Show Manager Josh Cotran-Gabriel says there is something for everyone.

"So there's the high-octane events in the main arena; we've got stunt shows and fire shows which really should be a feast to the eyes, but there's also things for young families as well.

"We make a point of allowing children 11 and under to be able to come into the show for free."

There'll be live music both days, 60 stalls selling goods and food, the traditional Tea Tent, free bouncy castles, and 7 fairground rides.
