July was the dullest in Guernsey in 26 years, according to the latest weather stats.
The Bailiwick had just 200 hours of sunshine, 53 fewer than average for the month.
Plus, we had more than twice the typical amount of rain. A total of 92.3 mm was recorded, compared to the 30-year average of 43.2mm.
The wettest say was 25 July, when 17.1 mm fell in Guernsey.
The overall temperature was close to average though at 16.8 Celsius, boosted by some warmer weather last week.
The highest temperature came on the final day of July, when it reached 26.6 Celsius.
