More than a thousand people took part in a Torchlight Parade in St Anne on Saturday (8 August) - including a famous footballer.
A crowd of smiling faces made their way down the high street and to the Butes for the last celebration of Alderney Week 2026.
Among the crowd was former England striker Peter Crouch.
The tall candle-like torches were thrown onto a bonfire, bands took to the stage, and fireworks exploded overhead.
Organiser James Clarke says the 70-plus events throughout the week were well attended:
"The weather has been fantastic, the amount of people on the island, there's been lots of families over this year which has been absolutely awesome.
"Everyone's had a good time, we've had a good turnout to all our events, and really we couldn't be more pleased."
He adds one aspect of the last night was downsized for safety:
"The fire that the States have built us this year is slightly smaller than normal years because of all the dry weather we've had, so it makes sense to have it slightly smaller."
