The vibrant colour festival wholly funds a unique post in FNHC that provides holistic respite to children in their care and their siblings.
On Saturday (26 April) around a thousand islanders of all ages are taking to the beach at West Park for Family Nursing and Home Care's flagship fundraiser.
Throughout the 5km run, they will be covered in powder paint whilst being entertained by live music from a DJ.

All profits raised from the Colour Festival funds the work of FNHC’s Paediatric Palliative Care team, which aims to improve the holistic quality of life for children on their pathway.
It funds specifically one role within the department. The 'Children's Palliative Care Support Worker' takes children out into the community or looks after them at home.
Polly Axford, a Community Children’s Nurse with Family Nursing and Home Care, says there is only one person in this post:
"It supports that role, it's a unique role, and she's the only one.
"Without the funding, that service would be missed. The feedback we get from children and the families is really positive because it's support that they otherwise wouldn't get.
"It's holistic support, she provides respite, helps them have social experiences - it's really important."

Last year, the colour run sold out. Sign ups for this year had exceeded 1,000 before the noon start of the event.

Family Nursing and Home Care recently published a report on its services for the year 2024, in which it was nominated as Jersey Post's Charity of the year.
Their support included a free advert on the back of one of their vans, and a leaflet was delivered free of charge to all 45,000 Jersey households.
The report also found that 38% of its income last year came from events, legacies and donations.
