Two teenagers have been arrested for allegedly stealing a £100 spend local card from another teenager.
It happened in the Millennium Town Park at around 7pm on Friday.
The 18-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of larceny and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The cards were distributed from Wednesday 9 September to help stimulate the island's economy.
Around £250,000 had been spent in the first couple of days.
Anyone who doesn't get their card by tomorrow is asked to get in touch with Social Security.
Missing a card? If you’ve not received a card by tomorrow, the 16th September, then go online at gov.je/SpendLocal or give us a call on 444444. There is still plenty of time to Spend Local. #SpendLocalJSY
