The number of passengers flying in and out of Jersey last month have more than doubled what they were last year, and are back to 61% of 2019 figures
305,828 people travelled to or from the island by plane and boat in June, July and August.
That's compared to 107,573 during the same period last year.

Ports of Jersey CEO Matt Thomas says it shows growing confidence that people are able to travel safely:
"We’ve seen flight volumes back up to 73% of pre-pandemic levels over the bank holiday weekend, which is far ahead of other regional airports in the UK.

"Retaining connectivity is so important for islanders who are able to visit loved ones in the UK or go on holiday and for tourists to come to the island and support our visitor economy.
"We’re delighted to see that the harbour has returned to pre-pandemic levels on the direct Poole and Portsmouth routes, with the passenger numbers for July and August now exceeding those for the same period on 2019."
The busy period for Jersey's airport and harbour aren't over yet.
Ports of Jersey says it's expecting flight occupancy to be back to 65% of pre-pandemic levels this coming weekend:
