Jersey's rugby union community is thriving according to the RFC head coach, despite the fall of the Reds.
More than 500 minis and juniors are part of the club, and the Colts have won two matches in the season so far, with Callum Cuthbert debuting for the men's team at 17 years old.
Head coach Myles Landick says the news of Jersey Reds' collapse has been devastating, but it is important to keep fans engaged with rugby.
"Rugby at Jersey Rugby Club is still thriving."
"We want everyone to come up and watch those games to see the rugby on offer and aspire to play for the Jersey RFC amateur side."
Both men's and women's Jersey RFC are leading the league tables in the Regional 2 South Central and Women's NC 2 South East (South) leagues and have won all their matches, so far, this season.
If the momentum is carried through the rest of the season, both sides will be promoted.
"It's a very exciting time.
"That chance of promotion and trying to gain promotion at another couple of leagues is really exciting and hopefully it's something the local community will come up and get on board with."
