The Optimists Club is once again the big winners of the Battle of Flowers.
Victoria Avenue welcomed crowds for the first time since 2024, and was treated to more than 20 spectacular floats.

It’s estimated that around 15,000 people turned out for the parade.
Last year, a scaled-down Battle of Flowers born out of necessity still managed to capture the hearts of islanders.
It was through town, meaning smaller floats, and free to attend.
It stayed free on the return to the avenue to retain what was praised as a more 'community feel' at the 2025 event.
There were collection points where islanders could donate.

"Everyone was cheering, taking videos and clapping, it was really good!"
Last year, there was no Prix d’Honneur award given due to the change in format, but St Clement won the public's popular choice.
