There is a new location for this year's Christmas lights switch-on in St Helier.
Parade Gardens will be the venue on Thursday 14 November, with a Christmas Village featuring food and drink, live entertainment and stalls.
A parade. including Santa's Sleigh. will start at West's Centre at 7.15pm and take a new route through the high street to Charing Cross.
It will pass the Town Hall before arriving at Parade Gardens.
Town Hall officials are promising a bigger and better show than ever before.
There will be live performances from the Jersey School of Popular Music and other entertainment at West's Centre from 5pm.
The Christmas Village at Parade Gardens will open at 4pm, with a family sing-along show on stage to mark Santa's arrival, followed by the lights switch-on at 8pm.
Head of Engagement and Town Centre Manager Connor Burgher said: “We are excited to be holding the Christmas Light Switch On event in a completely new location this year.
"This will allow us to provide an even bigger and better show than ever before.
"We hope you will join us in marking the official start of Christmas in St Helier – it's an event not to be missed!”
In recent years, the Christmas parade has started from the Millennium Town Park, taken in the Royal Square and continued on to a Christmas Village at the Weighbridge.
