Police have released more information about the last known movements of Richard Romeril before his disappearance on Friday.
The 48-year-old is known to have left his home in St John at 8:30 am on Friday (8 September) and purchased a green tent, a black and blue sleeping bag, a grey Eurohike rucksack and a blue foam sleeping mat from Blacks on St Helier's King's Street.
He was then seen buying an orange bucket and grey tarpaulin at B&Q at around 9:45 am.
In the afternoon, at around 2:00 pm, his black Kia Sportage was found at Noirmont Point in St Brelade.
Several witness sightings place him in the south-west of the island, and although Police believe Richard is most likely in this area, he could be further afield.
As the search for missing Richard Romeril continues, officers have renewed their appeal for any information and footage to help find Richard.
He is described as being 5ft 3in, stocky build with short receding dark hair and moustache.
Richard was last seen wearing a brown/orange T-shirt, light brown shoes, dark socks and blue denim jeans.
Islanders in the areas of Ouaisne, Noirmont and Portelet, with private CCTV, doorbell cameras, dash-cam footage or any ‘Honesty Box’ stalls with CCTV are being asked to check and see if they have any footage that might have captured Richard.
Yesterday, officers distributed flyers to homes and businesses in those areas.
Anyone who sees Richard or has information should call States of Jersey Police on 01534 612612, option 2, option 4.
Alternatively, islanders can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their anonymous online form.
