Fabio Manuel De Jesus Nunes was found guilty of rape and touching someone sexually and is beginning a 9.5 year prison sentence.
In addition to the custodial sentence, De Jesus Nunes will spend 15 years on the Sex Offenders Register.
A court heard the 39-year-old committed the offence at the victim's home in September 2023 while she was unconscious.
CCTV captured the incident but De Jesus Nunes discovered the camera and tried to unplug it, in an attempt to destroy the evidence.
Detective Inspector Christina Maclennan from Jersey's Criminal Investigation Department paid tribute to the victim’s courage.
“We are committed to investigating and prosecuting all sexual offenders and encourage anyone who has been the victim of a crime of this nature to report to police or other agencies below who are in a position to offer support and guidance through all stages of the criminal justice process.”
It is being recommended that he is deported on release.
