Plans are underway to create the island's first Youth Parliament, which will be called Jersey Youth Connect.
It'll be made up of a representative group of 12-18 year-olds from Jersey's secondary schools and youth organisations.
They'll be chosen by Jersey Youth Service, together with the States Greffe.
Young artists are also being invited to help design the assembly, with a competition running until the end of August to design its logo.
A shortlist of five potential designs will be chosen by youth ambassadors, but it will then be up to the public to choose the winning entry.
It is hoped that the Youth Parliament will be launched by March next year.
