Island Energy customers across Jersey are back on the gas network and can start turning their supplies on.
Islanders in every parish can start to restore their energy to their homes by switching on their emergency control valve (ECV).
The gas company has reiterated its warning that it is crucial to follow instructions on how to do this.
For people who do not feel comfortable turning the gas back on themselves, there is a form online, and an engineer will be sent out to help.
Due to the supply being turned off, a delay may be experienced when turning it back on.
Island Energy says this is normal and to leave ten minutes for the gas to be restored before turning on appliances.
If ten minutes have passed and you can smell gas, turn the ECV off again, leave the house and call the gas escape number immediately: 01534 755 555.
Do not try to turn appliances on if you can smell gas.
