Jersey actor Timothy Renouf has been cast in the new Bergerac series.
Timothy's known for the drama series 'A Very British Scandal', which starred Claire Foy and the film 'Afterlife of the Party', which starred Victoria Justice.
In the reboot of the iconic 80s detective series, the former pupil of St George's and Victoria College is going to play a character called Julian Wakefield.
He'll be acting alongside his on-screen father Philip Glenister, known for 'Life on Mars', who will be playing Arthur Wakefield.

Timothy Renouf tells us he's buzzing to be in the reboot, which brings him back to his home town:
"Out of the blue, this was the first audition I had in so long and I thought - 'what are the chances that it's the Bergerac (series)?'
"When I got the call that I got it, I was just like, 'this is so funny', I can't wait to be doing a job back home.
"It's a very rare thing, especially in Jersey, its not often that there's a lot of filming around there."
