Islanders can now buy direct winter flights from Jersey to the Canary Islands.
From 27 October (half-term), travellers can jet to Tenerife for some winter sun.
There will be 14 flights in total from Jersey, running every Saturday:
- From autumn half-term until 8 November;
- Christmas and New Year;
- And, from winter half-term until Easter.
FlyDirect are continuing the flights to the Canary Islands after 'another' successful winter season, with more than 12,500 sneaking in a winter holiday over the years.
Robert Mackenzie, Managing Director of FlyDirect’s parent company, C. I. Travel Group, says they are celebrating a decade of operating direct flights from Jersey to the Canary Islands.
"With flights operating on Saturdays this winter, we hope even more islanders will be able to take advantage of the service."

FlyDirect's partner airline, Smartwings, will operate the flights using its 737-800 aircraft.
Islanders can expect the journey to take around four hours.
Ports of Jersey’s Chief Operating Officer, Stephen King, says it is exciting to see more direct flights to Tenerife with Fly Direct operating later this year, along with the transition to Saturday operations.
"I am sure that Islanders will value this expanded service, as it provides additional opportunities for holidays in Tenerife without the need for a connecting flight."
