Disgraced politician Jonathan Le Tocq has resigned from the States after pleading guilty in Guernsey's Royal Court to all 15 charges against him.
The Bailiff's Chamber has confirmed the former Chief Minister and External Relations lead has formally resigned from his position as a deputy.
He resigned in writing on 4 December, the same day as he appeared Guernsey's Royal Court and admitted making around 2,400 indecent images of children. More than 200 were in the most severe category, A, and nearly 500 were in category B, with more than 1,700 in category C.

Le Tocq, 61, also admitted sending an indecent image of a child and several indecent messages.
Guernsey's Police arrested the senior politician on 21 July and charged him in late August.
He has been on remand in prison since then and will be sentenced for his crimes on 26 January.
The former church pastor resigned from the Policy and Resources committee in September but has remained a States Member, receiving his salary.
States Members will be asked at next week's meeting to accept the resignation, after which he will formally be removed from public office.
