Jersey's emergency services were called to a serious road traffic collision between two cars on La Grande Route de St Martin.
At 3:00 pm this afternoon (16 May), all emergency services were attended the scene at the junction with Rue des Friquettes and Rue des Pigneaux.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident, with at least one of the cars catching fire.

States of Jersey Police have told Channel 103 the investigation is in the early stages and the extent of any injuries is not yet known.
Large plumes of black smoke could be seen, and school children were helped off a nearby school bus that was just a short distance behind the collision.
Islanders are being asked to avoid the area and a road closure has been enforced from La Rue du Ponterrin.
