A man has died after being hit by a taxi in St Brelade last night (Sunday 29 November).
It happened near the old Shell Garden site on Mont Le Vaux at around 8:15pm.
He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
The driver wasn't hurt.
Police want to speak to anyone with any information on what happened.
He has not yet been officially identified.
