Danish firm DFDS is test berthing another of its ships in Channel Islands waters today (15 October).
The MV Mistral is arriving into St Peter Port at 8.30am.
It is scheduled to set off for Jersey at around 10am.
The 153 metre-long Ro-Ro cargo ship follows trials of the Seven Sisters earlier this month and the Finlandia in December 2023.
DFDS is one of three companies whose bid to take over the Channel islands passenger and freight operations is being considered by the governments of Jersey and Guernsey.
An announcement is expected soon.
