With a week to go until the Jersey International Air Display, islanders are being asked to support the event however they can.
The prize for this year's fundraising raffle included the opportunity to fly in one of the world's rarest aircraft, a PBY-5A Catalina aircraft.
5,000 tickets costing £10 each were available until 5pm yesterday (2 September), with the winner being announced today.
The VIP jackpot prize included hospitality on the day of the display, with lunch, afternoon tea and a fully inclusive bar on the Lower Park, two passes to the official reception at Government House, tickets to an evening party attended by flight crews and six airside passes to the static display.
While the raffle is now closed, organisers are asking islanders to continue to support the show by making a donation, buying an official programme and visiting the static exhibition at the airport next week.
Fundraising organiser John Le Fondre says every contribution is essential to secure the show's future.
"It is, in my view, one of the premiere events in the Jersey calendar.
It's the biggest free air show in Europe. Last year, 18,000 people watched it around St Aubin's Bay and around 31,000 watched it online.
"We are very grateful for the grant we get from government, (and) for the private sponsors that come through, but we cannot do it without the support of the public.
"The display is a poignant reminder of what happened in the past, it is also relevant going forward, and it is great fun to look at."
The final line-up of aircraft is yet to be confirmed, but will include fast jets, vintage warbirds and classic civilian aircraft.
This year's brochure features the SAAB Viggen, Douglas Dakota, OV-10 Bronco, Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and the Ravens Aerobatic Team
The RAF's Red Arrows will close the show.
Schools in Jersey will be closed on Thursday 10 September for the Air Display.
