Jersey Police are on the scene at Pier Road, responding to a road traffic collision where a car has crashed into a wall.
A substantial amount of rubble is present on Le Quai aux Marchands, near La Folie Inn.
The collision is understood to have happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning (31 December) near Pier Road car park, with islanders asked to avoid the area.
Officers can be seen clearing up at the scene and tending to a blue car, which is missing its bumper and number plate following the incident.

Police have not confirmed whether anyone has been injured.
Islanders are being urged to avoid the roads, along with Commercial Buildings and Mount Bingham, while investigations continue.
