A teenage boy is in a critical but stable condition in Southampton hospital following a collision in St Martin.
It involved a Jersey Post van and happened around 4.30pm on Thursday (25 May) on La Rue de Hucquet at the junction with La Rue de la Vignette.
The pedestrian - who was wearing sports clothing - suffered ‘significant injuries’.
He was taken to the General Hospital and later transferred to Southampton for ongoing medical treatment.
Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened or who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the van or the pedestrian in the surrounding areas.
