The Royal British Legion is celebrating its centenary Poppy Appeal and has opened a pop-up shop in the centre of town.
To celebrate 100 years of the Poppy Appeal in Jersey, a pop-up shop has been set up selling merchandise and badges to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
Alison Opfermann, the Poppy Appeal Organiser, says she is proud to celebrate the fact it improves countless lives and lived up to the motto 'Service Not Self'.
"Many veterans these days are having mental health problems, we can also help veterans with these issues as well, directing them to the correct professionals."
All of the money raised through the shop and poppies goes directly to Jersey, with a small percentage being sent to the UK for supplies.
Islanders can find the pop-up shop at 26 Halkett Place.
Volunteers selling merchandise in the streets, for example on King Street near Marks & Spencer and in the Market, and poppies can be found in shops such as the Co-operative.
Meanwhile, a Roll of Honour listing the names of Jersey soldiers lost in conflict has gone on display at the Santander Work cafe in St Helier ahead of Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday this week.
