Kids fly free between Guernsey and Jersey this half-term

Guernsey's airline is waiving the fare for young travellers between 14 and 23 February.

Aurigny hopes the half-term promotion will make trips to Jersey and Guernsey more accessible for families wanting a change of scenery.

It is as the flight operator promises to commit to a 'much better' inter-island service after being named sole operator on the route.

Philip Saunders, Chief Commercial Officer at  Aurigny, said:

“Our ‘kids fly fare free’ offer is part of our ongoing commitment to revitalising the inter-island market and helping island communities stay connected – we very much hope families will enjoy this opportunity to reconnect with their roots across both Bailiwicks.”

The Guernsey States-owned airline is shifting its attention to its new 'lifeline' routes following the loss of Blue Islands services.

The free flights only qualify for children under 11 years when accompanied by a fee-paying adult and must be booked before 19 February.
