The Flying Christine 3 is out of the water at Braye after developing a technical problem over the weekend.
The marine ambulance was heading to the Isle of Wight for a maintenance check early on Saturday morning (27 September) when it developed a technical problem north of Alderney.
The crew decided to make for Braye Harbour, where the Flying Christine was hoisted out of the water ready for inspection.
It has only recently returned to full service after an extensive refit and repaint.
Ambulance and Rescue has arrangements with other Guernsey boat owners whose vessels are used by the service when the Flying Christine is not available.
One of these, the Bailiwick Chief, was used over the weekend to transfer a patient from Herm to Guernsey.
