Guernsey's first cruise ship of the season is due into St Peter Port today.
The Hanseatic Spirit is the first cruise liner to visit the bailiwick in two and a half years.
Officials have laid on a special welcome - including Guernsey flags, free easter eggs and a balloon arch at the top of the harbour pontoon.
It is the first of 86 cruise liners due to call into St Peter Port over the summer months.
Guernsey Ports and Visit Guernsey have asked cruise operators to 'strongly recommend' passengers take a lateral flow test before they come ashore on an excursion.
Speaking earlier this year, Deputy Neil Inder - the President of the Economic Development Committee - said after two missed seasons because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this is welcome news:
"Cruise passengers bring a significant boost to our economy every year.
As an island we have missed them and it is great news that we’re on the cusp of welcoming these hugely valued tourists back onto our shores."
