Art for Guernsey says it has formed partnerships with world-class galleries since hosting a Renoir exhibition.
Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s work was showcased in Guernsey's Candie Museum for 10 weeks in late 2023.
Organiser David Ummels says it attracted almost 16,000 visitors, who, he estimates, put £3M in to the local economy.
He says its success has given Guernsey credibility in the art world.
"We've proved to dozens of world-class museums and private collections that they can trust us with their artwork.
It's quite amazing to have the National Gallery, the Musée d'Orsay and the Cincinnati Museum as partners."
Art for Guernsey is working towards hosting a Turner exhibition in the next three years.
The English Romantic artist created colourful landscapes in the 18th century.
David says Turner was an influential creative, who spent some time in Guernsey.
"Turner was known for introducing light into his composition and for turning realism into his own form of impressionism.
He came to the island around 1832 and made about one hundred sketches.
So for this project we already have really constructive dialogue with the likes of the National Gallery on the back of the Renoir project."
