Proposals for Guernsey’s new post box network have been published.
Guernsey Post announced its intention to reduce the number of roadside post boxes around the island at the end of July.
It said going from 141 to 45 would increase service efficiency, as usage continues to decline.
Today (15 August), the list of boxes to be decommissioned has been published.
It shows the majority in central St Peter Port would stay, but other parishes would see far fewer.
Torteval and St Andrew’s could be left with only one post box each.
St Saviour’s and Forest would keep two.
Islanders have until 12 September to comment on proposals.
