Wonky Town 2026 has been cancelled due to the financial risk being 'too high'.
The festival has announced that it will not be going forward this year, despite early-bird tickets generating sales.
However, it cites that financial pressures have not given organisers 'enough confidence' to put on the summer DJ event.
It says islanders who have bought tickets will be refunded to the card they used to make payments.
It recently asked islanders, in a survey, what they wanted to see from the 2026 line-up, with customers wanting high-quality line-ups but at an affordable price.
Wonky Town said it has been unable to make the finances 'stack up' in a way that would allow it to deliver a 'credible' festival.
Although the statement says Wonky Town 'will be back'.
