Woman Dies After Grouville Collision

A 70-year-old woman has died after a collision with a Volkswagen Polo on La Rue a Don in Grouville.

The 79-year-old man driving the car involved in the crash near Iceland has been taken to hospital.

The crash was first reported at 9:50am, with the roads closed by police and traffic diverted.

Emergency services say the female cyclist died shortly after the collision and her family is being supported by specialist Family Liaison Officers.

An investigation has been opened by States of Jersey Police.
