An expert from the UK will help Jersey Fire and Rescue find the cause of the suspected explosion at a Mont Pinel family home.
We're told investigators will begin their work on Tuesday morning (9 July) after stabilisation works on the property finished at the weekend.
It is not currently known how long the investigation will take.
Emergency services were called after a loud bang was heard at around 11pm on Wednesday 26 June.
A house on Mont Pinel in St Saviour partially-collapsed. Two young children - aged two and five - were rescued unharmed by officers.
Their parents required further attention and were taken to hospital, after being found by firefighters 'under rubble'.
We're told the couple that was hospitalised are due to be discharged from hospital this afternoon (8 July).
They are being provided with accommodation while services investigate the cause of the suspected explosion.

Island Energy previously looked into the cause of the incident themselves, and revealed they did not find any gas escape.
Their investigation has now concluded.
