Two people have appeared in Jersey's Magistrate's Court after heroin, with an estimated street value of up to £360,000, was seized.
35-year-old Tara-Lei Cowell from the Isle of Man and Michael Clohessy, who is 44 and from Liverpool, were arrested on Sunday 24th October, and have been charged with several counts of drug importation.
It follows a joint Police and Customs investigation.
It's estimated the drugs have a street value of between £225,000 and £360,000.
The pair have been remanded in custody to appear before the Royal Court on the 7th of January.
