The Jersey Football Association has appointed Tim Pryor as its Chief Executive Officer.
He replaces outgoing CEO David Kennedy, who is leaving the post for a role at Jersey Sport.
Tim previously worked for the Jersey Football Association in a communications role, and has just spent three years as Head of Communications with the Government of Jersey's Infrastructure and Environment departments.
He also has a decade of experience in local football, working as a BBC Sports Editor, then with Jersey Sport, and also as a manager at both Rozel Rovers women's team and the Jersey Under-18 women's side.
Tim Pryor said he's buzzing to get started in his new job:
“I’m thankful to Jimmy (Jimmy Kelly, Chair of the JFA Board of Directors) and the Board for putting their faith in me, and I’m excited to be given this opportunity to take up the baton from David and continue to progress the development of football in Jersey.
“Football has always been a major part of my life. I love how it stirs the emotions, brings people together and can be a real positive force in our island community.
“The Jersey FA is blessed with a brilliant team, both in the office and out on the pitch, supported by so many volunteers across the grassroots game. I’m looking forward to working with them all to ensure our sport continues to flourish.”
