The Better Journeys Project has money for Channel Island schools to promote cycling, walking and scooting.
The Better Journeys Project has opened applications for its newly launched Fund for Schools, offering practical grants and expert guidance to help schools install or expand active-travel infrastructure and programmes.
Schools or parents should identify a project that needs funding, complete the short online application form by 10 January 2026, and will be notified of the outcomes by 1 February 2026.
The money for the 2025/26 Fund is coming from Appleby Global, continued support from The Tom Dorey Eco-Legacy, and a £1,500 boost from the Health Improvement Commission (in Guernsey only).
