Four teenagers have been arrested following reports of an assault involving knives in King Street.
Police received several 999 calls at around 5pm on Thursday 4 March reporting an assault involving a group of youths.
Armed officers attended the scene on King Street between New Cut and Apple Crusher and arrested three 14 year olds and a 16 year old on suspicion of common assault, possession of an offensive weapon, and disorderly conduct.
Two knives were recovered.
A man suffered minor injuries during the incident.
The suspects remain in custody pending further enquiries.
