People who catch fish for fun are being asked to share their experiences in a new survey.
The government's Marine Resources team has put a questionnaire on Facebook aimed at recreational fishers.
It wants to know what is being caught, how many and where to support future marine management.
"The results will be brought together in a report, providing clear evidence of the scale and value of recreational fishing, including its cultural and economic value."
The survey, which the team says takes about 15 minute to complete, can be found here.
Answers must apply to fishing in Jersey's territorial waters.
"If you prefer not to answer certain questions, you may leave them blank; however, please still submit the questionnaire, as every response provides valuable information."
