Jersey Cheshire Home is hosting a street party to celebrate being able to help more adults with disabilities.
Three new bedrooms have been built, which are already fully occupied, which the charity says demonstrates the growing demand for specialist nursing care and rehabilitation services in Jersey.
Elsewhere, the gym has moved, and a new dedicated specialist therapy room has been created.
It's thanks largely to £640,000 of support from the Harold Ernest Le Seelleur Fund.
Jersey Cheshire Home also invested its own money to extend the scope of the project and make further improvements to the facilities.
Donna Abel, CEO of Jersey Cheshire Home, said:
"We are extremely grateful to the Harold Ernest Le Seelleur Fund for its generous support. This significant contribution has enabled us to create three much-needed additional bedrooms and make important improvements to our rehabilitation facilities.
"The fact that all three new rooms are already occupied demonstrates the level of demand for specialist care and rehabilitation in Jersey. We are already considering how we can increase our capacity further so that more Islanders can access the specialist support they need without having to leave the Island.
"This development is about more than additional bedrooms. Our relocated gym and new specialist therapy room will help people work towards their rehabilitation goals, maximise their independence and achieve the best possible quality of life.
"We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to The Health Minister Tom Binet and his team for their valued support throughout this project, and to Building Renovations for the high-quality workmanship delivered throughout the development.

Residents, families, colleagues, and supporters are coming together for a street party today to celebrate the development.
The charity is also looking at opportunities to expand further to meet growing demand, and to allow more islanders to receive specialist care and rehabilitation on-island.
