Islanders are invited to take photos of 'Local Icons' as part of the My Island photography competition to win prizes.
People with a keen eye could win a £100 voucher if they win their category with runners-up receiving a £25 voucher.
Prize-winning photos will form an exhibition in the Royal Square during Democracy Week 2023 (23 to 27 September).
After they will be displayed in the States Assembly buildings for a year.
The 'Local Icons' theme has been left up to interpretation, whether it is historic buildings, landmarks or iconic people.

Deputy Carina Alves, Chair of the Public Awareness and Education Sub-Committee, says the 'My Island' Photography Competition is a fantastic opportunity for Islanders to showcase what Jersey means to them.
"As we approach the next election, it's crucial to reflect on what matters most to us.
"I encourage everyone, of all ages, to participate and highlight the local icons that are special to them. Your photos will help us celebrate our heritage and shape Jersey's future together."

A winner and runner-up will be selected from each of these three categories:
- Children up to 10 years old;
- Young people aged 11 to 17;
- Adults aged 18 and above.
To enter, email your digital photo to StatesGreffe@gov.je by 5.00 pm on Friday 6 September 2024, including the following details:
- Name,
- Age,
- Parental permission (for entrants under 18),
- Title of photo;
- Instagram account name (if you would like to be tagged in your photo if it is shared on the @StatesAssembly Instagram account).
