Jersey has had its second-hottest day since records began in 1894!
It reached 37.2°C, which is the hottest June day ever recorded in Jersey.
That beat the previous high of 33.4°C from 30 June 2025.
The hottest ever Jersey day on record was on 18 July 2022, when it hit 37.9°C.
A maximum temperature of 37.2°C today in Jersey, the 2nd hottest day since records began in 1894.

The record could still be broken this week, with highs of 37°C and 38°C forecast over the next couple of days, potentially even hotter on Thursday.
The current extreme heatwave is expected to end on Thursday night into Friday, with highs of around 25 degrees to end the working week.'
