Hundreds more civil servants are striking today over pay.
Unions are planning to protest outside the States building in the Royal Square this lunchtime, while Jersey's parliament is in session.
On Monday, hundreds of Teaching Assistants and Customs and Immigration officials walked out.
Police were on duty at the harbour's Elizabeth Terminal while Immigration officials were on strike, and where unions gathered at lunchtime in protest.

Some hospital and States' administration services will also be affected.
The Hospital's pathology labs will be closed and unable to accept samples for testing.
Physiotherapy and Clinical Investigation clinics are cancelled and non-urgent x-rays have been rescheduled.
Customer and Local Services expect to offer most services at La Motte Street, but islanders are being advised to postpone any non-urgent visits until Wednesday.

As the latest strike action got underway, the States published a table of civil service pay grades.
It said it would 'aid transparency and understanding' - and demonstrate that at each grade the majority of employees are paid at the top of their pay scale'.
A short accompanying statement also said:
"Public sector employees also receive an employer contribution to their pensions worth an average of 16% of their basic salary."
